Demo of the Lowden O38 Special Batch 45 guitar. This is number 17 of 45 guitars produced by George Lowden for the 45th anniversary of the O38 model, each individually numbered from 1 to 45. It is an extremely rare instrument, made with red cedar and the strictly protected African rosewood (Kevazingo). I'm delighted to be using this unique guitar, so I decided to record an improvised sound demo, using three microphones, a professional preamp, and a studio interface (to capture a wonderful sound of this masterpiece). The recording contains several fragments of musical themes, some more familiar than others, and captures my very first time playing the instrument after it arrived.
